I was just pondering about a 15" sub project and just curious. For that sub:

Specifications:
Power handling: 800 watts RMS/1,100 watts max
VCdia: 2-1/2"
Le: 3.84 mH
Impedance: 4 ohms
Re: 3.68 ohms
Frequency range: 19-500 Hz
Magnet weight: 136oz.
Fs: 19.93 Hz
SPL: 91.7 dB 2.83V/1m
Vas: 7.79 cu. ft.
Qms: 5.89
Qes: .41
Qts: .38
Xmax: 20.5 mm
Dimensions: Overall Diameter: 15-9/16", Cutout Diameter: 14-1/16", Mounting Depth: 8-3/8"

What would be the best volume for a sealed box. Size doesn't matter. It can be a fridge if it will sound better. Going for max depth with minimum factors that I can find a way to screw up...ie port size, depth, etc. Thanks in advance.

According to WinISD, a proper enclosure with a .707 Qtc, would be 3.38ft^3 net internal.
It would have an anechoic F3 of 38.05hz.

what about the volume the speaker itself. Is that added to the overall volume of the 3.38. I have added volume that the amp would take up to compinsate for that, just was unsure of the speaker as well.
