Bought the Energy RC-Minis for my front - right decision?

I also got an Onkyo receiver and HSU STF-1 Subwoofer

Are the Energy RC Minis okay for front speakers? Or should I get the Infinity P152s?

Used for gaming, movies, music

I only want 2.1

Edit: theres also Polk RTi6 being sold for the pair at $199

Please help me decide

Go with the Energys. I have heard lots of good things about them. My father in law has a pair and likes them. Not sure what model he has.

I'm sure you are aware that the RC-Mini is a very small speaker, much smaller than the RTi6 or P152. For reference, the palm of your hand will probably completely cover the face of the cabinet. Having said that, it seems to be a high quality speaker for it's size. I've heard them and I like the way they sound within their limitations. As long as the room isn't huge and you aren't asking for crazy loud volume, they can make a nice sounding yet discrete audio system when combined with the Hsu sub.

With any small satellite speaker, integration with the subwoofer is key. Crossover point & sub placement therefore become crucial. I would believe then that the Infinities or Polk’s would integrate better. Can you arrange to audition each in your set-up?

You'll need to x-over the mini's at about 100hz-120hz with a sub. They're great little speakers with excellent imaging, but as Dave mentioned eariler they do have their limits.:)
