We just bought a new 60" 1080p Sony and want to get the most out of it.. I don't know about what cables to use on what components or anything. We are planning on getting HDTV but would like to use our computer as well. We also have a Sony Dream System and would like to know what are the best types of cables to use to connect that to our TV.. or does it even matter? I tried hooking up the TV to the computer but the screen size was much smaller on the TV and I couldn't figure out how to make it bigger...

Any tips on getting the most out of my TV.. other than a Bluray at this time?

Get HDTV service from your cable/satellite company and get a good upconverting DVD player. If you have a dream system with DVD player, forget about the quality of it. Sony, while making some very good products, does not have a very good reputation with upconversion, especially in DVD players recently.

So, besides the eventually Blu-ray player - or maybe a PS3, HD cable and good upconverting DVD players are it.

Computers are computers and there are ten billion tweaks you can/should do to get them to look perfect on your display, but I'm not the one to tell you how to do that.
