I am looking to buy ether Boston VR3 or AXIOM M60v2 speakers and am not sure which one is the best? I play allot of CD's and listen to radio allot, these will be for my wife because she is a BIG Gospel Music listener.

My biggest problem is which one is the very best for what I want it for. We listen to 60% Music and 40% TV.

I really need your help on this so I get the best.

I do not know the first thing about Speakers.:confused::confused::eek::eek:

Best is subjective and the best speaker is the one your ears prefer. Bostons and Axioms have a similar sound characteristic. Is there any reason why these two are the only ones you're considering?

I haven't personally owned the M60s, but I do own a pair of M3s as well as the VR3s. Honestly, I think the performance from either one of these will be very similar and will come down to personal choice or preference.

I was comparing these two a couple of years ago and it came down to which one I could get for less money. I went with the VR3s having scored a very good deal on them and I haven't regretted or had buyer's remorse on them once. They deliver very well with music or movies. The better the source has become, the better they shine.

Whichever you can get cheaper, I'd go with them. Either way, make sure you've heard at least one of them to make sure you and/or your wife like them to begin with... -TD

As others have mentioned, both are good speakers. Only you can make the final decision.

At a minimum, you need to go out an listen to the two you listed to see if you even like the sound of these speakers. As a start, go the axioms website and check the hearing things forum to see if there is someone in your area that will audition the speakers for you.

I would also go to a local dealer and listen to a bunch of different speakers in your price range.

I personally think the Axioms, as an internet direct product, offer a very good value for the money, but being an Axiomite I would say that. ;)

The price is so close and it is a right price for both of them. I know dam if you do and dam if you don't, if you know what I mean.

If you order from Axiom, you will get a 30 day trial period. Within 30 days if you are not satisfied with the M60's you can return them no questions asked.
