Now i dont want to start another big thing on POS Bose speakers but i was just clicking on some different links and came across this one http://www.bose.com/controller?url=/shop_online/home_theater/lifestyle_systems/dvd_systems/lifestyle_48/index.jsp and i just can not belive that they can sell that for so much money, you could get soooooo much better for that price.

And i know this has all been discused but i just had to say something i mean come on $3,599 for that, what a joke!

Some people are willing to pay a premium for style, convenience, pride of ownership, and couldn't care less about the sound/price ratio. Al their friends think it's great and are suitibly impressed, so what's not to like?

And, to be honest, Bose does offer a pretty nice human interface on their more expensive units. And, it would make a nice addition to a camper or a boat where space is at a premium

Well put, Mark. People should buy what they like for their own system, not what other people think that they should like.

To Kirk's point, though, that's pretty pricey for the functionality. It does offer some other aspects that people like, though.

I dont know, my brother in law just bought one and i have another friend that has a 3-2-1 and i still think they are a POS!!
