I would like to feed my Bose speakers from a Marantz amp aux O/P.
Unfortunately the Bose is a USB I/P. How can I convert from a phono O/P on the amp to a USB I/P on the Bose??
Any thoughts.

Welcome to the forum!

The easiest way that I know of to connect that Bose system to a receiver audio output is to use an RCA to 3.5mm cable like this one (shown below) and plug the receiver output into the audio input jack on the Bose control pod.

If the Marantz has pre-amp outputs, those would be a great choice to use because that will allow you to control the volume from the Marantz. Audio outputs associated with components (e.g. the audio output for a VCR if your receiver is old enough to have that) aren't controlled by the volume level of the receiver.

That DAC/amplifier/speaker "system" was designed for one specific purpose, which is to provide a complete sound system for computers that can send out that specific digital signal via a USB port.

I can't think of any magic bullet that would do that conversion for you.

What Adam suggested will serve to feed a two channel analog signal to this beast and if that's all you want, enjoy bit it's then only a basic computer speaker, and a very expensive one at that.
