I've done a research on which components to use for my boombox project and will probably go with this parts:
- YJ Tripath TA2020 MKIII PCB 25watt Class-T amplifier
- Monacor HiFi Bass Midrange Speakers 60W Max 4Ω SP-60/4
- Dayton 5/8 Inch Neodymium Dome tweeter ND16FA-6
- PB Battery 12V 7Ah
- 10A dual USB Solar Controller
I would appreciate your input on the YJ TA2020 MKIII amp guys. Would this amp go well with the chosen speaker setup? Box would be designed according to the Monacor speaker with the two internal separated cabinets.
For the power Im gonna use a Pb 12V 7Ah battery. I want to integrate a solar controller for the battery power and management because it has a settable cutoff battery voltage and the fact it has USB ports seems awesome too for charging a cellphone exc. On the back plate I would have a power socket that I would connect with an external power supply for charging the battery through the controllers solar voltage input. At least this is how I imagine it would work.
Whats your overall opinion on the setup idea?
