Bookshelf speaker recommendations

Good people of the board i need your help! Am on the lookout for a pair of bookshelf speakers to go with my Denon DM35DAB hi-fi, was looking at the Wharfedale Evo8's but just missed out on them and now discontinued product. Any recommendations for decent bookshelf speakers, price range up to £250.

A million to choose from. Unless your going to mailorder,go see what brands they have around you and decide, narrow it to those to start with.

Although I've never had a chance to hear them in person, I've heard good things about Epos, another UK product.
