Bookshelf speaker placement question -

my X-LS do not fit on my unit standing straight up - I need to rest them on their sides to make them fit. Will placing the speaker horizontally make a big impact on the sound?>

It will change the sound slightly but won't necessarily 'ruin it'. You have to work with what you've got, so if there is no other option, you'll have to position them horizontally.

If they're far apart then the tweeters need to be inside and if they're close then the tweeters need to be outside. Cheers.
