PHILADELPHIA AREA MUSIC LOVERS BAND TOGETHER TO CREATE “MUSIC MATTERS”
Local Forum for Audiophiles to Hold First Event At World Wide Stereo April 8th 2010
MONTGOMERYVILLE & ARDMORE, PA – March 29, 2010 – World Wide Stereo has announced the launch of “Music Matters Philadelphia”. This networking group will give audiophiles and lovers of high-end audio and music alike the opportunity to socialize, exchange ideas, share opinions, and promote the hobby. The first event will be held at World Wide Stereo’s Montgomeryville showroom on April 8th, 2010, and will subsequently be held the third Thursday of every other month.
“For several years we have received inquiries from music lovers throughout the region to create a forum where they can share their passion,” said Bob Cole, self-proclaimed audiophile and founder of World Wide Stereo, “Music Matters will offer participants a place to interact with manufacturers, reviewers and celebrate the sound. We hope that this environment, present and future, will help to improve the overall experience for audio enthusiasts around the Greater Philadelphia area."
The first Music Matters event will feature manufacturer, dealer, and equipment demonstrations from some of the most prestigious brands in the A/V industry, including:
• Bob Carver, Sunfire: Audio innovator and the legendary inventor: Carver’s innovative designs at Phase Linear and Carver Corporation defined the audio Industry of the 70’s and 80’s. Today, as Sunfire’s Chief Technology Officer, his ideas continue to shape the future. If you have any of his equipment you want signed, unplug it and bring it in!
• David Solomon, Peachtree Audio: High end audio you didn’t know you already have and how to make it easy.
• Chris Smith, The Equity Group: B&W Speakers, Rotel Electronics: The difference in sound and the difference it makes.
• Mark Lamb, McIntosh Labs
This event is FREE of charge and will also offer giveaways and special pricing of various items from top brands including Klipsch, B&W Zeppelin, and Monster.
