I have a supply of BNC cables (2 x BNC male crimped onto RG58 cable) and notice RCA male to BNC female connectors are available on ebay for about $.80. Is there any downside to using these cables in place of common RCA male-RCA male cables for audio connections?
I know there are two extra connections in each cable, but I've always found a BNC to BNC connection to be quite secure.
