Bluetooth speakers for TV and iPhone?

Hello everyone! My TV is not loud, and at high volumes, I can't get the right EQ settings for decent sound. I use an HDMI cable to connect my laptop to my TV, strictly for a DVD player. All of my music is on my iPhone, so my iPod and my Sony iPod dock is dated technology. I'm a total newbie at stereo equipment, and home audio systems. I was wondering if there is a way I can hook up bluetooth speakers to my TV, and have the bluetooth connectivity used for playing music from my phone. I would imagine that I need some kind of receiver to jump between TV audio and bluetooth audio, but I have no idea if this is possible. I would appreciate suggestions on what brands of equipment to get. This idea is for my bedroom, an average sized room, but I like my music loud and I'm sure everyone knows how awesome it is to watch The Avengers with theater-like sound! I'm not exactly Bill Gates, so I'm looking for an inexpensive, but not cheap, way to do this if it can be done. Thanks!
