blueray player usb question

i just bought a blueray player today and the usb port is nice but i cant find any of my memory sticks with more than 512 mb :(... but, would i be able to plug it into my computer with a long usb cord and be able to access all my movie files on my pc from the blue ray player?

Probably not. What blu-ray player did you get? You can get USB drives pretty cheap these days. I just bought a 4GB for 7$ the other day off Amazon.

EDIT- nvm I see the blu-ray player in your sig. I'll look and see what it can do off the usb port

I would check the manual to see if it can play what you want, but I'm still pretty sure it won't work hooked up to your computer.
