I'm quite stoked, I purchased 52 feet of the Belden 5000 10AWG, along with 10 pairs of banana terminations last week. They just arrived today, so I get to have fun cutting and putting together some cables for the system.

I was stuck using some old speaker wire I had from an ancient Kenwood integrated system I had way back when that mustve been 28 guage, which has always had me a bit worried. Inthe past I've used that wire with my old monitor 9's and a yammy reciever, and it got so hot one time that it actually soldered itself to the old reciever and monitor 9's. From then on I've always been really careful until I could get some half decent cable.

I'm curious though, does anyone know where I can pick up a wrap or tube thats a bit more stylish that I can feed this cable through? Unfortunately due to my room layout many cables must be exposed to eye sight, and I'd like to make'em have some more curb appeal.

Thanks Blue Jeans, and thanks for any advice guys.

I've always been a big fan of wiremold or panduit. You can find the wiremold in various sizes at your local Home Depot. They look nice, are smooth, and have an adhesive backing, so you can run it along your baseboard. They're also paintable, so you can blend it with whatever you stick it to. ;)
