i dont think its that bad.. you can fit 1080i onto a dvd-r so they must have just been playin hd/br quality on a different disc.

they were just showing the quality of the screen, and im sure it looked awesome... good enough for people to think it was blue ray anyway.

For the record, I do not work for Microsoft. I'm surprised by your comment. This is not meant to be a Sony bashing thread. I thought it was interesting news and it made me laugh. I would have done the same if it was Microsoft or any other company. I don't care who wins the format war between HD-DVD and Blu-Ray. I just want something that works and doesn't force rediculous DRM schemes on consumers. I don't care about the console wars. I'm a PC gamer. Appearently some people take offense when others don't like a certain company...
