I thought it was kind of a miss for what I had been expecting. I like apocalyptic movies or whatever, but this didn't do it for me. It's like a small taste of what was possible with it. It spent most of the time showing how bad people are, and even went as far as rape and such. It might have been okay if I left feeling this was a bigger meaning and I had gained something from it, but I left feeling like I just watched attrition and rape. Like Requiem for a Dream had some horrible **** in it, but I could look a little past it because I left having felt like I gained something from it.
Maybe worth putting on your rental list so you can stop it if you aren't into it. I wouldn't recommend seeing it in the theaters.
