Pets notwithstanding, I'd agree if the site was exclusively viewed by Americans as the words in question would, more than likely, 'fly over their heads'. However, the site, whilst undoubtedly mostly viewed by Americans, is not exclusively viewed by Americans, and therein lies the potential for offence.

That's applicable only to those who're sane enough and have something else better doing. But for some, internet is as addictive as smoking and/or listening to your HT for hours on end without being able to turn it off.

I wouldn't exactly say offended, and certainly not hurt.

I, I'm sure along with many others here, hear swearing in everyday use all the time. I'm not pretending to be any kind of angel. Far from it. However, I think it's entirely innapropriate, whether others 'get it' or not, to swear on these boards and that's what I object to. There's simply no need for it.

Let me be quite clear. Dolby can think anything about anything he wants as far as I'm concerned. But if he's going to post here, his language should at least be civilised.
