Nothing but I'm gonna go drive around at 5:00 AM and stand in the freezing cold in front of Sears and Walmart just to get in the way of everybody else and I'm going to complain that all the good stuff will be bought up by the first 3 shoppers and all that's left is the junk they thought was crap. Merry effing x-mas. I just hate this time of year. My Scrooge hat goes on in August.

EDIT: Dang, thanks for making me look. I just saw these for 60 bucks and immediately wondered if two of those in my desktop could be made to operate like a back up in case one blew up ... but I wouldn't know how to set that up anyway so thanks for making me feel stupid on a Sunday.

Well there you have it. I agree with you to a point...the holidays can be a pain if you let it be. I don't go out on black friday but I am on the look out for deals at his time of the year.

I'm buying absolutely nothing, unfortunately. I'm on a fast track to paying off my credit cards and other loans (at least I think I am), so hopefully this time next year I'm able to do some real upgrades. If I had the money available, I'd definitely get a whole new system and furniture

i don't buy into the "hype" of buying something "for everyone" for CHRISTMAS thing.

parents get, and kids under 18 get. thats it. oh, the wife & i, we pick out something we want, get it, wrap it, and open it on CHRISTMAS morning. just a tradition thing.

so i am not looking for anything. though we need a printer. i just can't decide which one to get.
