Can someone help me out here. If you hook up speakers A and B binding posts of a receiver to the same speaker on the right and the same setup on the left, and engage both speaker A and B swithes simultaneously, are you bi-amping, or biwiring your speakers. I'm not sure of the amplifier topology when it comes to speakers A/B selection.
Thanks.

You’re only bi-amping if your amp has separate amplifiers for the A and B speakers. If the amp simply parallels the speakers you are bi-wiring the speakers.

However, bi-wiring and bi-amping only works if the speaker allows the upper and lower crossovers to be de-coupled. If you have removed the crossover strap on the loudspeakers then you’re in a bi-amp or bi-wire config.
