Tough questions for a newbie?
I using a vacuum tube amp that I am running to a pair of older B&W Matrix 2 Series 2 speakers which feature the old style side by side bi wire posts, one for woofer and one for tweeter on each cabinet. The connectors are metal posts that allow me to put the speaker cable thru a hole near the bottom of the post then screw down the knob (LOL). i am not sure if i should bi wire these speakers, if i even have to, and if i do what should i do, because normal jumpers do not seem to work?

ps thru all the false claims out there, are there any cables which are worth buying, such as mapleshape or cobalt or what?

Forget Mapleshade. try monoprice.com or the cable makers advertised at AH.

The posts are there for biamping, not biwiring. If you don't have separate amps or channels for each set of posts, you are accomplishing nothing.

Cobalt cables are nothing special, they just look really nice. They will not perform any better than Blue Jeans.

Biwireing is fad=junk sceince!

As stated before you would only use this for bi-amping. John

I think that's reason enough to go with Cobalt. :)
