Big White Truck...

I was going to make a thrilling thread about the anticipation of the arrival of the FedEx truck arriving with obvious unoriginality, but I wasn't able to take time off from work.

Luckily, when I was home for lunch, the next best thing arrived. It was a big, white Dodge Sprinter van. I was disappointed to find that the van's objective was to deliver dog food.

Apparently behind the dog food box in the van, there were some other boxes hidden from view that were actually for me. They were sent from a fellow in Florida known only as the Supreme Overlord...

It is soooo hard to work right now...

You are absolutely right. Actually, I think I have to sleep in the extra bedroom tonight - my wife was not wearing her happy face when two dishwasher-sized boxes showed up (small dishwashers, I say!). I thought once I got them unpacked we would be good, but nope. Heck, I might as well just stay in the HT all night!

P.S. How's the puppy - is he going to be staying with your friends for quite a while? That is quite the cute, happy dog face.

Thanks we got him this past Sat. So far he is very good. He is here in my office. I have to tie him outside but it is raining buckets here again today. Worst flooding ever around here. We have not been brave enough to leave him in the house alone yet. He seems to have some separation anxiety which probably stems from him being left at the vet office. As long as one if us is with him he is as good as gold.

I will definitely get some pics and review/impressions after I get them set up. It will take a few days as I have lots of other stuff going on. I also kind of want to get all my acoustic panels put together and such for any critical listening. I guess that other stuff I mentioned should probably wait.

Don't let the boxes fool you - the Supreme Overlord sent me his old subs in the boxes to his new subs - these ones are DD15 (non-plus) in gloss black. I myself would have liked to see the cherry as well. Mayhaps he will grace us with some photos of his new ones at some point.
