BIC Premier Acoustech

I did a quick search and didn't find anything here on this new line. Looks like BIC is using soft dome tweeter with this "upgraded" Acoustech line.

With this new line they also have a new sub.
Premier Acoustic PA-12W Subwoofer

I also see that the HT-64 bookshelves are available for $229.00 a pair.

G'dam. They've had these on Ubid for ages, and I've never put two and two together. I'm always looking at that sub, and wondering who the hellis Premiur Acoustic. Nice find, Matt. Looking at the bookshelves, I think you may be right.

I assumed they were made by BIC cause they were listed with the other acoustech series. According to that website you posted, it doesn't look like they are.

I saw this posting and wanted to clarify something.

Premier Acoustic is not made by BIC America​

I am currently doing some freelance work for BIC America and spoke to them about these speakers. It seems this is actually a major concern for them at the moment as there is a lot of product confusion going on. I won't go into the details, but the Premier Acoustic speakers are POOR quality. They are basically white van speakers. Some of the key differences would be the lack of a horn tweeter, and also the speaker arrangement. Don't be fooled into thinking you are buying something from BIC. Trust me when I say that a lot of engineering went into BIC's Acoustech line of speakers. I personally have an Acoustech setup with an HSU VTF-3 sub, and I can highly recommend the speakers.

The Acoustech HT-64 bookshelf speakers that are references in this posting ARE made by BIC America. It's so easy to get all of these models confused.

Just to clarify, I am not directly affiliated with BIC America, but I am currently doing web development work for them. Yes, there will be a new website launch very soon so keep an eye out for that, I hope to get feedback after it's completed.
