So i got the BIC Acoutesch PL-200 subwoofer last fall and i have been using it with not the results i thought i would get. I am not sure if i just dont have it set up right or what but it doesnt seem to always put out as much as i would like it to. I have it hooked up to a Yamaha RX-663 receiver and a set of yamaha speakers (2-NS-555, 4, NS-333, 1 NS-C444). I use to use a Kilpsch sub-10 but i think i pushed it to much and need to replace the drive but thought it would be more fun to just get a new sub. The sub-10 always gave me enough and just turning the gain up or down a little here and there would be all i need but with the PL-200 it is not even receiving a signal all the time when i have it on automatic. so idk if its just getting to weak of a signal or what... any help would be much appreciated... i would also consider any new options on getting a different sub... priced up to 450ish.
Thanks :D

If the room is under roughly 3000cuft including any attached spaces open to the room then I'd look into an Outlaw Audio LFM-1 Plus. It's similar to the Hsu VTF-2 and on sale for $467 shipped. If you have a larger room and can scrape up another $85 (before the sale ends) they have their LFM-1 EX on sale for $552 shipped.
