BIC Acoustech H-100 review

Just thought I would post some thoughts on the BIC h-100 after so many people recommended this sub over many others, including higher priced ones.
While I didn't get as great a deal as some I spent $200 plus $40 shipping on the sub through the ebay authorized dealer. It was shipped next day and was hear in 5 days. My budget was $200 and I couldn't find a good sub in that price range so I bumped up to $250 and found this gem. I listened to Energy, Velodyne, Paradigm and a few other subs that were the cheapest local stores had. Most ran around $350-$400. I have to be honest, none are better then the H-100, and most are not as good. The Bic is well built, great looking, all the bells and whistles I could want and the best part is it sounds great. I didn't need a lot so I didn't want to spend a lot, but I got more then I could ask for. Every bass sound is sharp and fills my 10x20 room with no problem. It's not over powering and gives you just enough boom (not boomy though) to make movies sound perfect. I can make it over powering, but I leave the volume at just 3 and the crossover just under 100.
If you need a sub under $250 shipped, just get this one and don't spend 3 weeks searching online and reading every post. Trust me, you will be as happy as sheep farmer with brand new Velcro gloves.

I've had mine for about a week now in my bedroom setup and so far I'm impressed with what this $250 sub has to offer. I still want to test it out with WOTW and the Darla tap.

Bumping this up because I'm curious to see how you guys feel about these subs after extended listening.

This is one of the subs I'm considering and would like your opinions.

Two friends of mine have this sub for better part of a year now. The are simply a great bang for the buck especially at the $200 'ish price point. They have held up well.

I just got my Dayton 12 for the bedroom yesterday. So far it's ok, but after listening to my SVS for so long it just doens't seem to sound that great, but it is capable of some pretty good output for the room size I have it in. I haven't really done too much listening with it so far because I have been busy, and since I just set it up last night, but for the price of about $180 shipped, it's not really that bad, I'm just used to my SVS 20-39 PC+ going way low with much authority. The Darla tap had some good punch to it, as did some of the other tracks on my LFE demo disc. It may not be as good as the BIC, but it cost less and I got mine for free, courtesy of my girlfriend. Hopefully it will sound better after using it for a while, and I still have to try moving it around a bit to find the best spot for it.
