I am about to buy my sub and I have narrowed it down to these choices.

Everyone has reccomended that I buy a HSU or SVS, but I cannot justify over 500 for a sub. I would love to but I just cant.

My budget is about 300 and for that money I was wondering which of these was better.

The BIC-100 (Popular Choice) 249.99 Free Shipping
Infinty SW-12 299.99 Free Shipping

I like the idea of the infinity because it used to be much more expensive and so I think it may be a little better than the BIC? I'm not sure.

Or one of the Dayton Kits from PE?

Thanks for helping me make my audio dreams come true guys. I've wanted a nice setup for the past two years. Just finances and bad things kept coming up raping my money from me! But now I have a much better job and can finally get it

I will get a tape and measure when I get home. The room is open to two other rooms but they are basically doorways with no door not whole open walls or anything.

I've setup two of the lower dayton subs for my friends. THe 10" inch version of that though. It's a little boomy for my taste. I'd like something a little fuller, deeper sounding!

I ordered the SW-12 and had to return it due to the defective vibration of the woofer working itself out of the cardboard like frame ,bought the HSU VTF_1 and smile ever since . The Hsu is one incredible sub ,it is solid , accurate and display the depth of music I didn't know was there before .I'm going to get rid of my Klipsch rsw12 and buy the bigger Hsu latter.
