There are a nuimber of sites that can tell you how to bi-wire your new speakers, but the general consensus is that you're simply wasting money by doing so unless you also get additional amps to "bi-amp" them...and in all honesty, for some the jury is still out on that, as well.

However, if you want to buy double the wire then here's how to hook them up: get two lengths of wire for each speaker; 2, connect both positive wires to the reccy's positive terminal-do likewise for the negative; 3, remove the crossover plates or wires from the back of the speaker; 4, connect matching positive and negative leads to one set ofposts, and the other to the "other" set of posts; 5, turn your system on, sit down and pretend you can hear a difference.

Bryan...why not just buy thicker gage wire, or make better jumpers instead...

Those two black terminals should have a bar or plate between them as well as the red terminals. Most likely they are speaker wire terminals, not RCA terminals.
Buy 14 gauge speaker wire from Home Depot, long enough for each speaker to the amp. If there is no bar between the two speaker terminals, between the black and between the red, just use a short run from the same cable between them.

Bi-wire speaker cable

My Klipsch center channel can be bi-wired and I noticed that Monster has a speaker cable with a built in crossover for this kind of thing. I currently have the connection plate in place, but am wondering if anyone here has ever used one of those cables. If you have, let me know if the results were good, bad or just pointless.

Just pointless. No, I don't need to try everything in the world before knowing :D

The answer to your question has already been answered in this thread. However I will add to what has been said. Klipsch has made no secret of the fact that the only reason their speakers are bi wireable is because that is what sells (the marketing deparment demaned it) and that it has no impact on sound.

Good Dea!

Thanks for the replies! I will buy/make a good cable for that center channel and move on.
