I got my hands on a pair of D&M 705 S1's but they seem to need bi-wire cables.

I have heard different schools of thoughts on bi wire, will you let me know your thoughts?

I'm interested in feedback on the following:
1. Is bi wire worth the investment?
2. In lieu of bi wire, I've been told that you can just use a regular set of speaker wires and then connect the top and bottom posts. Is that going to provide me with comparable quality? And what's the thing connecting the posts called?

I am only using this to listen to stereo music. No HT stuff. I have a Marantz SR6300 driving them.

Thank you.

So it tells me to use two set of wires. And I hear that I can also use one pair of wires and a couple jumpers connecting the two sets of posts.
Any big difference between the two methods?

No difference at all, but one will double your wiring cost.

Seriously, I have no life.
Terminals with four posts is something that came out of the 1980s and if I could, I would go back and slap the pinheads who decided to plague us with this crap.
