Hello AVGurus,

I have a 5.1 set-up, with Polk Monitor-70s in the Front. My amp can power 7.2, however I am not using extra surrounds as I don't have room for it. It's just that I dont have wall space where I want to place the speakers and I don't want to stand them on the floor.

Wondering if the Bi-Amp will give me any improvement with the current set-up.

Is is worth to send the surround back L and R signal as Bi-Amp to Front? Will it make any difference?

Also, should I directly connect the Front to amp or should I connect thru sub-woofer?

Please share your thoughts.

Equipment:
1. Amp: Yamaha RXV665
2. Front: Polk Monitor 70
3. Center: Polk CS1 Series II
4. SUb/Surround: Definitive Techology Pro Cinema 60

Connect your mains directly to the receiver. You will hear no difference in Bi-amping the mains.
