BG/RBH/Triad?.....Help.

Hello all. This is my first post so bear with me. I am in the beginning stages of putting together my first home theater and i'm a litte lost to say the least. This is going into a 24x18 room that is a kitchen/family open space. My only two options for speakers are on-wall or in-wall for the Fronts and in-ceilling for the rear. I listened to the BG R-200 and R320 the other day and really liked them. They also carry a R17i on-wall which I haven't heard but intrested in. I am also intrested in the RBH but the local dealer didn't have any that I could listen to. I also have heard good thingd about the triads but once agian the dealer didn't have any on/in-wall that I could listen to. My big question is this. I want the best possible sound but don't want to go over board, More speaker then I need. I want the speakers to sound great for music as well. I would like to spend between 1.5-3k. I know this is a big range. My problem is that I don't want to by more speaker then I need. I'm basicly looking at the 7k HT set up from here and taking my que's from there. Pioneer507cmx... Denon 2807.... Toshiba XA2 or A20.... Sony 300 Cd changer. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

I plan on using ceiling speakers. I know this can't be called a home theatre but will have to do. I do need sugestions for a good ceiling speakers. I don't know what a person has to spend. I would like to keep it to about $500.00 Thanks all. PS this is also my first visit as I new to this.

$500 budget is really really tough for a complete home theatre. $500 is doable for 5 in-ceilings. A little more would get you something that I think is fairly nice. at $500 I would look at a brand called Proficient. I have heard these several times before and they are nice. For $420 ($139 ea.)though you can get the new RBH A-615L for the front speakers and the A-506 for $229 a pair. Total for the RBH set up is $649. I have a sample of the RBH and have not put them in yet, but the build quality of the speaker is, IMO, better than the proficient. I will post later this week as to how they sound.
