Better phone charging cord?

Seriously, I have no life.
I would have asked in the interconnects area, but these are so annoying that I decided to post it here. Has anyone found an iPhone cord that will last for more than about five minutes? I'm not yanking it out by the skinny wire, I try to avoid grabbing the cord if it falls, I don't step on the plug.....

They're cheap- I get that, but they fail at a time when another one isn't available, regardless of where I am and another one isn't available.

Brands and sellers. anyone?

If ya find one let me know. I got tired of the apple stuff, so I just got some of the Amazon Basic. Seem to work the same and a lot cheaper.

The Anker brand seems to be a reliable product. Some of their cables carry a good warranty. The Unbreakable brand might be interesting too:

I've had success with Belkin and now an Anker... But I am not really very hard on my cables. I will say, it is nice to have a 5-6' cable. :)

but do they both convey that 'chocolaty mid-range, extended high frequencies and tight bass' ? ;)

In all the years I've owned my iphone, I have never listen to music via an "ear bud' or wired connection.

I needed to go to Wally World, so I looked at theirs and bought two- a lot beefier than all of the others I have used and it's stiffer, so maybe, it will double as a selfie stick. :)

I think the one that stopped working came with the phone, so I'm not surprised that the jacket pulled out of the end.

Considering the price of their phones, they could have spent more than thirteen cents for the accessories.

I find it very aggravating when my phone dies in the middle of a call and I don't have another cord close. I have a 3' but it doesn't charge quickly- doesn't always charge regularly with that one, either.

It's good that the EU has mandated ALL phones will use the USB-C jack in the very near future. I don't care if Apple wants to feel 'special', they need to make life easier for their customers.

I only buy Anker for lightning and USB-C. Powerline+ II Lifetime warranty - if you break it, they will replace it. In the car, I started using the Powerline III, it is flexible and very tough. Only ever had one fail in the car, but it got pinched by the seat.

I use their non braided cables (less kinking), their 65w wall charger and a 140w powerbank/charger for travel, 110% satisfied with all of their products.
