Best value Surround Processor

Hi guys,

To start out with, My current "budget" Setup only consists of one Parasound HCA-1000A for the fronts, Klipsch Sp-1's for the mains and an Outlaw LFM-1 Plus.

For value, what is the best "bang for the buck" so to speak? All I really need is 5.1, but the ability to upgrade would be nice. It will be 75% Music listening,the other 25% movies.

What do you guys think of the Emotiva LCM-1? Or the Parasound 1800?

And Lastly, would these improve my stereo listening over using my HK-3485 as a Pre-amp?

Well,

I just bought the LMC-1 off of rnatalli, Im pretty convinced that it will provide the level of value im looking for.

A question though, Will it be possible to use my HK-3465 as an amp to power the back two channels?

You should be able to use it as a 2 channel amp.
