Best Value Available for Used Speakers?

I'm looking to get "new to me" center channel & front right/left speakers to upgrade my 5.1 setup. I don't have much $$ to spare, so my budget must adhere to around $400 for all 3 speakers. I figured the used route would be the best way to go..any suggestions on good used speakers that I could find in this range? I looked into some M&K s-125 and s-125c speakers on Ebay, but the bidding war soon left me (& my budget) in the dust!

BTW, the speakers would need to work with my Harman Kardon AVR-525 receiver (specs shown below), and they would be placed in a fairly small carpeted room (about 11' x 20').

Thanks for any suggestions..

There is a guy on audiogon selling some PSB Image B25 w/ the C40 center for $600 negotiable. You probably wont be able to talk him down to $400 but maybe in the $500's which would make it a nice deal.

Or better yet if you go to saturdayaudio.com you can get a pair of brand new B25 with the C40 center for a little over $500. Save ~$70 if you go with the B15. Can't really beat that for the price.

I agree with going the SVS route, i had the sbs o1 with the matching center before i got my MTS 01 5.1 and they are really very good and have alot of good reviews for the $$ you cant beet them. Check them out before you make any choices.

No joke, I found it a little frustrating. I knew if I bought them and didn't like them (unlikely) that I could easily sell them and get my money back, plus gas money for my job searching.:(
