This may be on here somewhere, but if you have a copy of Avatar, skip to the end credits then fast forward all the way through them. When the screen goes black at the end, sit back relax and enjoy what is honestly the best THX demo I have seen to date... It honestly rivals all of the neat lucas films ones.. Enjoy.

My favorite part was the little mushrooms. I had to throw the volume way down because I thought I was going to get myself arrested. haha.

I agree, that is called the "Amazing life" demo, I think its the best THX demo from them all. If I could only use one demo scene to see how a setup stands, that is what I would go with.

that is quite an amazing thx trailer, and had I not heard about it on one of the forums I frequent, I would have missed it, but I'm glad I didn't. It is definitely amazing, and it's too bad more trailers aren't like that.

It sure was cool about a year ago when it came out. I think that one actually showed up first on that garbage Indiana Jones 4th movie.

Something to do this weekend other than work. :) I'll be checking this out.

If you have Max Payne, there's an even heavier sub beast after the credits too.

Not a THX demo, just an extra scene after the creds and has a massive, sustained bass note that drops in frequency at the end of it. Never watched the time, but it has to be at least 30-40 seconds long and don't listen to it with your sound cranked up the first time because I'd wager it has the potential to damage subs. Shakes my entire house

I've always like the Disney Blu Ray fireworks. Scared the hell out of me the first time I heard it. Not deep bass but really punchy type bass.

The Disney fireworks are great to. I have to hand it to Disney, they are terrible in a lot of ways, but they do "get" blu ray in a way some of the other major studios do not. Their transfers are among the very best, I don't think even Criterion can equal the care and high quality you find in the Disney's classics blu rays. I don't know who it is exactly, but somewhere in Disney is someone who is a serious AV guy and gets to make important decisions.
