Just set up a Denon DA-USB300 DAC. Inputs are 2 optical, 1 coax digital and 1 USB.
My music server is a MacBook Late 2007, OS 10.7.5. It has USB2.
Currently set up using digital optical out cable from Mac to optical in on DAC.
Using JRiver music software.
What's the highest res output from JRiver and this Mac? The Denon can utilize/decode up to 24/192 and DSD.
And what's the highest res port on the Mac -- the optical digital or USB2?
