I have so much good stuff that I cannot even think of 3 right off the bat....I love listening to live soundboard mixes that I have done myself. They always seem the best to me. I am listening to Maceo Parker live on New Years Eve 2004 as I write this and the sound is steller. I like a very full sounding mix and I would agree that all the music listed so far has those qualitys......I am just partial to my own mixes.....

Listening to Deadwing as I type.....great band.
Have you checked STEVEN WILSON's "Insurgentes" yet? A great solo work by Porcupine Tree's frontman. ;)

I highly recommend the CD + DVD-Audio version of this recording. An absolutely brilliant 5.1 mix Steven Wilson did on the Insurgentes DVD-A!!

I LOVE Porcupine Tree.

I also like the 311 day 94.

Got the Incubus Alive at Red Rocks on BluRay... hard not to recommend that.

Jamie, you have anything cool/rare/live from 311?

I was their soundman for 8 years 98 -06 and I have EVERYTHING from that time period.

Farvorite disc to this day is my Telarc SPIES disc. It's got some great tracks that just melt the speakers with sweet sound. Barcelona Nighte is a must listen.

Hey, that's cool, my son was (is still?) a big fan of 311 and has seen them play several times. He also was a huge fan of the now defunct band Piebald.

Another very good sounding disc is he Beatles' cd and/or dvd-a "Love."

Just wanted to chime in...

I just bought Pink Floyd's 'Wish you were here' and 'Dark side of the moon' 30th anniversary edition.
I have 3 DSOTM LPs, one is pretty much original, 2nd is from 2003, 3rd is 30th anniversary. I can tell you that the new one sounds so much better than 2003 version, I am just amazed. So, that's the best LPs I have.

My buddy who turned me on to PT originally said he bought this and didn't really like it.

I like Blackfield, another side project of Wilson's, also.

If he's a fan of Porcupine Tree I'm sure this will grow on him at some moment. I bet it's just a matter of time. ;)

Blackfield is also great indeed. Another Steven Wilson's side project that I also enjoy a lot is NO-MAN.
