Best solution to control hidden components?

Our home has built-in cabinets in the front of the room. The bottom half is cabinets with doors (wood) with shelves on top. My wife wants me to keep my components out of site so I need to keep them in the cabinets.

I want to be able to control my components with the original remotes so I'm looking for recommendations for a good infrared repeater system or other RF options; if there are any that will let me use the original remotes.

I'll only be using the remotes in the same room and only need about 20-25' remote capability.

Can you guys recommend a good solution?

Very solid and reliable solution, I own it - it built like a tank compared toy like Harmony remotes. However I'm annoyed by it's programming
