Just wondering what speakers +amp combo you would use to listen to Enigma?

????? Kind of an odd question? Most people don't tailor a system to a specific group/music style. It will sound great on ANY good system. IMO, the best is a good 5.1 system with the DTS DVD it sounds great.

JG is right, do you play loud? Is your HT large? The software style doesn't dictate the hardware in this case:D

Do you like it loud ?
I think 2 channel is more musical than 5 channel stuff .
If so , maybe a pair of older Klipsch (hersery's II ) .
Amp maybe a Bryston 3b .
Pre , many out there , maybe a Carver C-1 ( a soft sounding pre , to balance with the Bryston which has a very Lively sound ) with sonic holograghy .
As you can see this in my list is used equipment and canbe had for a reasonable price and the sound is outstanding , much better than anything you can buy in its price point new .

Im sure that would rock your house and still be clean .
Hope this is kinda the answer you where looking 4 :) .

Or, maybe we should ask him if he is concerned about the health of his hearing ability as he gets older? :D
