I am new in this field. I' m planning to buy JVC HD750 and 120" electric tension screen for my new home theater. I know the best is fixed screen but my room have to go with electric screen. My room is light controled and in dark paint. Not more than $1500. Base on your experience, please advice some brand & model is the best bang for the buck. Elite and Da-lite, which one is better? Or else? Thanks alot.

www.carada.com, go for the Criterion model. I have one paired with the JVC RS10 and it is awesome in everyway. The HD750 is a great PJ so you will be fine with the BW material which is like a 1.2-1.3 gain screen.

For electric screen try Elite or Focupix. 1500 is a decent budget but with the size screen you want Stewart is out of your range. Look into Screen Research also. With a JVC HD750, I would not sell myself short on a cheap screen. Da-lite should have some nice screens also but again out of your range.

I would go with a DaLite or Draper if you must go to a tensioned electric screen. Minimal gain makes sense if your room is dark. 1.2-1.4 gain is fine. No need for a grey screen if you have a room painted dark and full light control.
