Hello all,
One of my trusty Onkyo HT-RC180s has succumbed to the dreaded HDMI board failure and well.... Crapped the proverbial bed. I need something with a bit of punch to drive my Axioms (Please see my sig for the setup) and I want it to be 4k capable as well as supporting all the latest formats, Atmos etc.. and it must support Zone II for my outdoor Polk Atriums. I've been an Onkyo guy for many years but I've also been out of the HT game for quite a while. I'm not married to the brand. Any suggestions for something on my modest budget?

No problem I was gonna suggest the Yamaha Aventage as well, but you wanted atmos and you have to pay over a 1,000 for theirs. Are you sure you want atmos?

The X4100W has all the features you want except HDCP 2.2 so you can't route 4K through the AVR's HDMI inputs. The X4200W is nice but why pay $700 more now if you can easily get around the 4K issue or wait 6 to 9 months when it's price will drop $700? The same argument applies to equivalent Yamaha models.
