Best Movie Mode in Yamaha RX A8A Receiver , Do any body know

Hello, there
Do any body here Yamaha RX A8A or A6A ,A4A Owner , what mode do you use or sound BEST for Movie Watching.
Besides using the Surround Ai mode , Only any Mode from the Program , and do anybody know anything about the Pure Direct Mode, i haven't check if there is this model in the Receiver , but i feel that Surround Ai on my A8A - sound fantastic and the Enhancer Mode On. I just wonder if any body here find any interesting modes or features in the A8A Receiver , in a Better Theater like Sound.

For movies, on my A4A DTS-X. But not for all movies but that's just me. I like what AI brings to the game. I find it does a really good job with Monster Hunter on 4K Blu-ray. And yes your A8A has pure direct mode. That's mostly for music use. I've said this before my RX-A4A isn't going anywhere.

oh thank you , i just found out where the Pure Direct is , I recently purchase a Samsung A7 Lite tablet as a Remote control over the A8A , runs fantastic with this tablet - as what you said , only good with music, then i will try it out sometime this weekend , it's in the settings on the MusicCast App !!,, Just Don't buy that Google Nest Max Hub, gonna return it for refund, i got it yesterday, it was a pain - everything in this machine is voice command , don't really have a keyboard, in some ways, no browser , no apps can be downloaded or use , to link the MusicCast , you have go through a lot of steps , register an account with Yamaha MusicCast and Link the thing , in Google Home App, just a pain in the axx.. with this Google Nest Max Hub , i heard there is an update , that this hub will soon have a app launcher , thing .. but for a cheap and handle way, i think the Samsung A7 Lite Do just that , or even better
and in the Google Nest Hub , if you ask Google to go to Google.com and there you can type in the search bar to a site, you can go to those movie sites, but couldn't have the Cast feature to my Google ChromeCast to my 4k tv, really want to like this Device , but anyway if any body here finds a better Sounding Feature in the Yamaha RX A series receiver, let me know , thanks ,,, Cheers !!

hi, there , just curious , do you have a Amazon Firetv 4k stick or a Google ChromeCast to your RX A4A - if you do , did you experience any Audio Drop off ( Sound Cut Out ) message on Display ,says ( Decoder Off ) i get it while playing a movie from Netflix or PrimeVideo - when a movie Support Dolby Digital or Digital + , Dolby Atmos ) it detects that it's DD , then at times Sound Cuts off for a few minutes and back . But on the Amazon FireTV 4k Stick has an Option Setting ,which you can switch to Digital or PCM Mode, PCM mode works Great , but not in Digital Mode. is there a setting in the Receiver , that you might know , how to fix this , is this a bug , i hope Yamaha gets an Firmware update on this soon. because on the package of the Amazon Firetv stick says it supports Dolby Atmos , so i don't know,

No issues with my RX-A4A. I don't use any stick's of any kind so can't say.
