Best mid-fi bookshelves

I remember seeing something about the best low-fi to mid-fi bookshelves speakers on here but I can't find it now.

I think they were JBLs? I'm not sure though. But any good speaker recommendations for the $200-300? They're for my parents.

I will second this vote, and I am glad to see someone else recommending the atoms. Coincidentally I just got a pair of the Atoms (v.6) a few days ago and finally got them all setup last night, and I love them. Great sound! it makes being at work very difficult when I have so much music at home that I now need to listen to

I may add a subwoofer in the next year or two, but I certainly don't feel like I have to. These atoms have great range by themselves. Give them a listen if you have a nearby Paradigm dealer.

I think the Behringer 2030p's gotta at least be considered, but for parents I think a wood color might be more preferred.

I wish the Beta 20's were still ebaying. a pair of those made a boon of a deal for under 100 bucks. They were my intro into home theater.
