Best in-wall/on-wall speaker system for $2500 budget

Hey Everyone,

I have $2500 to spend on a in-wall/on-wall 5.1 speaker system (including a sub) in a room that is 18x10 for my parents. They have a 50” Panasonic Plasma and a Marantz SR7001 receiver.

Any suggestions on the best speakers in this price range would be greatly appreciated. The only flexibility might be with the surrounds, as they can probably be in-room. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Check out the new Axiom hybrid in-walls. The Axiom W series are in-wall speakers that don’t sound like conventional in-walls. I will have a detailed review of the W22 & W150 completed soon. I don’t want to give away the review but if you want details PM me.

RLA - I will definitely shoot you a PM - thanks.

Agarwalro - the sub does not need to be in-wall either.

If you can get a listen check out the Klipsh RVX-42's which are on wall L/C/R (could be used for surrounds as well). I use the RSX-4's for surrounds which mount on the wall or on a bookshelf. Put in a sub and you could come well under $2500 and have a very clean and great sounding setup.

My HT room is 18x11 and these fill a room that size with ease.
