Greetings from a new member. I have a 3 yr old Hitachi 65S500 TV that will be ISF calibrated next month by Mr. Bob. I'm wanting to maximize my viewing experience, so I'm wondering if anyone who has the same or similar set could let me know if they found a particular DVD player that "matches" best with this tv.
I currently have a Pioneer DV-578A. It is a progressive scan player but does not upconvert. Do I want/need a player that DOES upconvert?
I'l be running componenet cables.
