Best ceiling mounted speakers? Not in-ceiling..

Sorry...I know that it is a little vague, but I wanted to hear some readers input about this.

I am not necessarily looking for in-ceiling.

I am not sure what is the biggest size that should be considered.
I have listened to some Def Tech and like how they sound but not sure if even the smallest speakers are too big to be mounted.

Any comments on HSU, Mirage, Kef that can be mounted..

I guess if all else fails, I can go with...Dare I say it...Bose...

Many inceiling speakers have a tweeter that can be pointed in the correst direction. On some high end models, like speakercraft AIM, you can orient the whole speaker in the correct direction. Either of these options is better than bose-type cubes. Come up with a price range and some minimal requiements like a 2-way speaker (woofer and tweeter) with a 3" or larger woofer.

I have these for side surrounds. They look quite cool. They are unobtrusive. I have them mounted on the wall, but the mount kit comes with longer ceiling mounts as well. The other cool thing is that they can be mounted horizontally or vertical, making it possible for a very low profile ceiling mount.
I also have in ceiling HTD speakers for the rears and the tweeters do indeed swivel. I have them pointed forward towards my seating area.
