best cable connection to use?

Sorry for the newbie question. I want to ask what's the best connection
to use between a Motorola digital cable TV box and an Apex HDTV.
It looks like there are these choices:

coax cable (it's marked "to TV" and I think it's an RG6 cable)
Y Pb Pr
s-video
DVI

For the last one, the cable TV box has a "DVI-D out" connection
and the TV has a "PC DVI in" connection. Not sure if this would work.

So which one of these will make the best fidelity connection? Thanks.

I should add this: the *audio* output from the cable box is going to a
home theater receiver. I'm just asking which connection from the cable
box to the TV is best to use for *video*. Thanks.

Use either the DVI or component connections for the video, very little if any noticable difference, & run the coax connection to your reciever for audio.
