I do, but ummm no

I work in Magnolia at Best Buy but honestly man there's no way your gonna find anyone to give you there employee discount, Best Buy is hard core as hell on the discount and it's grounds for immediate no questions asked termination. Plus the only discount we have available on Vienna's is if we go straight through the manufacturer and that's way to much of a pain than you can afford to pay me. Sorry and Good Luck finding someone

Magnolia Hi-Fi was a higher tier audio/video store based in Seatle, they where bought out by Best Buy, and when budget allows on Best Buy store remodels they integrate Magnolia's merchandise into the Best Buy stores. As far as I know, they don't build Magnolia Hi-Fi stores alone anymore, they are just put into Best Buy stores. It is on Best Buy's site.

Magnolia was Tweeter on the west coast, but somehow still separate. Best Buy bought out all of the stores in the west and then started adding them into the Best Buy stores directly so they could have the higher end brands.

My daughter works there, but for someone to get you the discount, they actually have to make the purchase. Her friend let someone else pay for an item with him there and they terminated him on the spot.

Honestly. Find the cheapest price you can online. Do not expect to get that price from them but go in trying to get a better deal. If you know what you are looking for ask for the discount and I bet you they come down to what you are looking to get them for. I know this because I worked at tweeter for years and best buy is notorious for getting everydeal they can even if it means making no money. It is about market share to them.

My daughter said the same thing. Never hurts to ask. If they say no, just order it online :)

I got $600 bucks off of a pair of Def tech towers totaling $1200 1/2 off and i got a Yamaha rx v1700 receiver that would have cost about $1200 or something like that for $850 just by telling them i can get it cheaper through my friend who is a dealer for Yamaha.....Im never paying retail again lol..

Ehhh it all depends on the store and the manager/supervisor there and the existing amount of volume of business the store does. If you go to a hole in teh wall store that just so happens to have a Magnolia (Any new best buy built will have atleast a one room magnolia) and there deperate for revenue than yes you can talk them down some (How much depends on your bargaining skills). I know at the store I work at there's no way in hell we'll sell things like Def Techs at a discount anythign more than a 50-100 just because we're a busy store in a fairly rich area, we'll let a sale walk b4 we sell something at a break even or loss
