Hi guys,
My stereo is strictly set up for audio.
I am looking to replace my Velodyne sub-woofer to go with my Bose speaker setup. I run 301s and 161s for mids and highs respectively through a Denon amp set at 5 channel output. The sub-woofer (Velodyne CT-80) is done and I need to replace it with the best available option under $400.00. Would you please share your thoughts? Thank you in advance for your input.

The closest to your price and 8 inch like your CT80. I had one until it drowned(Sandy) and it rocked my studio apt. Darn out of stock, but I'm sure they will be back soon: https://www.outlawaudio.com/products/m8.html

Another choice is the the one I currently own and 10 inches and it truly rocks my place. I can't recommend it high enough, especially for the price, you can buy 2. Please read our member Jim Wilson's review:

Thanks for your recommendation. I went with the BIC PL-200 Acoustech Platinum Series Sub-woofer after extensive research.
