Best B&W sub

So I've been posting in the loudspeaker forums before, but I wanted some specific help on the subwoofers. I am basically planning on getting the following system:

B&W 685 (two for the front)
B&W 686 (two for the rear)
B&W CM Centre
Marantz NR1501

Now, for the subwoofer I am basically stuck between the B&W ASW608 and ASW610. Is the 610 worth the extra cash?

Keep in mind that i live in japan where my options are quite limited as far as the diversity of brands available.

you live in japan and still have enough room for a sub!!?? congrats on that.

i can only recommend hsu (hsuresearch.com). don't know if they're available in japan but i own one and it sounds wonderful.

by the way, how do you like the marantz NR1501?

If you have the cash, go for the bigger, badder one. You won't ever wonder if you should have gone for it and it will be longer before you feel the need to upgrade as well.
