Best AV receivers under $1000

Hey guys don't know if this the correct place but im looking to upgrade from my Onkyo txnr616 Av receiver after 8 years with it and mutli hdmi issues and need some advice or reviews for the top AV receivers suggested under $1000 that would give me everything I need along without given up any power. Just fyi I do want to all hdmi out puts to be able to run 4k this is a must to keep up with all the new devices. thanks

Amazon had the Denon X4300 (reg $1,500) on sale for $799 and the Denon X3300 (reg $1,000) on sale for $599.

They seem to always have the Denon on sale once the newer models come out. For example, when the X4500 and X3500 come out towards end of the year, Amazon will most likely have the X4400 on sale for $799 and the X3400 on sale for $599 brand new.

Now the X4300 is $1,000 and the X3300 is $650 brand new.

You could wait if you are not in a hurry or just get the X3300 for $50 more than the previous sale price.

Personally, I would give Electronics Expo a phone call and see if they could sell you the X3300 for $599 brand new or the X4300 for $799 brand new and skip going through Amazon. Electronics Expo have been well known to deal on prices!

With either AVR, you should also get dual AC Infinity silent 120mm fans for $20 to place atop the AVR to pull heat up.

BTW, I've used the Denon X3000 series AVR to power B&W 802 D2, Phil3, and huge 4-ohms RBH SVT towers and SX-T2 towers.

The X4300 won't sound any better than the X3300.

I would still feel 100% better buying a brand new Denon X3300 for $599 with 3 YR Denon Warranty.

That is a fantastic deal! The 3400 has the same DAC as the AVR-X4300W, X6400H and the Marantz SR7012. it won't make an audible difference but good to know the specs are better especially when it is free!!.
