Best amplifier for Klipsch RF 62?

Hello, I have an aging pair of Klipsch RF 62 speakers, and my Denon DRA-697CI that I had been powering them bit the proverbial dust... now I am curious whether or not I was using the correct amp in the first place. Does anyone wish to educate a high-frequency dropping off boomer regarding the right equipment to match these speakers? Don't really need the radio, just the amp.

Just 2ch? No sub? What for, movies, music? Nothing wrong with using that Denon in any case, but what killed it? Heat? Or just old age?

Those speakers are super efficient and an easy load for any amplifier. Just pick a receiver or integrated amp in your price range that suits your fancy.
